Overview

I am Abuild Simukoko, a Zambian technology enthusiast, cybersecurity specialist, and digital builder. I was born and raised in the Copperbelt Province, where my curiosity for technology started early. I’ve always been interested in how systems work, how they fail, and how they can be improved. That curiosity eventually pushed me into Information Technology, cybersecurity, and software development.

I started out as an IT Technician, where I learned the basics of system maintenance, troubleshooting, and supporting day-to-day IT operations. Over time, I became more focused on security and how systems can be protected from real-world threats. That shift led me into cybersecurity, where I now work in areas such as offensive security, information security analysis, and system protection.

Alongside cybersecurity, I’ve worked in different roles including IT support, administration, office assistance, and system development. These experiences helped me understand both technical environments and real workplace operations, and how important it is for systems to actually serve real people and real workflows.

Blog & Knowledge Sharing

I also run a personal blog where I share ideas around cybersecurity, programming, and technology in general. For me, it’s not just about building systems, but also about learning out loud and sharing what I know as I grow.

Background

I am influenced by a family legacy of leadership. I am the grandson of the late Dr. Patrick Chamunda, who served in national and international sports leadership roles. That background keeps me grounded in discipline and long-term thinking.

My focus is simple: build useful systems, keep learning, and keep improving how technology is used to solve real problems.
